Falls Landing in Artisan Plaza is a modern American eatery inspired by rural North Country fish camps, supper clubs and hunting lodges of the early twentieth century. Made popular places of refuge and hospitality by locals and the well-heeled urbanites who sought escape from the noise and flash of the big city, Falls Landing will strive to provide comfort, laughter and deliciousness to everyone who graces us with their presence. Superlative food prepared with local ingredients, hearty beverages and fine, familiar service will match the expansive natural beauty of the Cannon River valley and all of the pastures, woodlands, and waterways of Southeastern Minnesota.
Conceived as the cornerstone emporium of Minnesota Highway 52’s Artisan Plaza by local entrepreneur, philanthropist and proprietor David Olson, Falls Landing’s menu and beverage program are the brainchild of General Manager Jimmy Red Layer and Culinary Director JD Fratzke, both of whom have worked in the Twin Cities dining community for decades.
Whether you have spent the afternoon on snowshoes or a snowmobile, worked the Cannon River’s rapids with a paddle or cast a line in its tailwaters, hiked, biked, or downshifted around a curve in the roundabout on exit 96 off MN52, Falls Landing is here to welcome everyone who celebrates life in Southeastern Minnesota with open arms and robust flavors.
